Pippi Longstocking

Pippi Longstocking

Pippi Langstrumpf (Pippi Longstocking)
Based on the stories by Astrid Lindgren
Children's Musical with music by Georg Riedel

Pippilotta Delicatessa Windowshade Mackrelmint Ephraim's Daughter Longstocking returns and we can once again look forward to Astrid Lindgren's freckled, red-haired heroine, who, through her imagination, fearlessness and impudence, is undoubtedly one of the most famous figures in children's literature.

Pippi Longstocking is incredibly strong, cheerful, marvelously unconventional and she fibs quite wonderfully. She does what she wants, because she lives at the Villa Villekulla without parents, but with her horse and a small monkey called Mr. Nilsson. It is not just the thieves Thunder and Bloom, who learn that Pippi can take care of herself; she can playfully triumph over policemen and teachers just as easily.

Despite her very best intentions, Pippi is constantly involved with some kind of mishap. However, she's a wonderful friend to Tommy and Annika and neither of them has been bored since Pippi has lived in their neighborhood.
